Benefit-18 is a human milk-based infant nutrition product specifically formulated to meet 18 kcal / oz. All Medolac Benefit products meet recommendations for commercially sterile replacement feeding in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU).
Hospitals use Benefit-18 in term infants for replacement feeds and neonatal hypoglycemia. Benefit products are homogenized, which may lead to improved weight gain in very low birth weight infants according to published data.

Medolac Benefit is a commercially sterile product, packaged in a hermetically sealed pouch. Medolac Benefit is shelf-stable, and can be stored at room temperature. Benefit donor milk products have been heat processed to be commercially sterile and will remain commercially sterile until the package is opened. Refrigerate for up to 7 days after opening.
